The Setup
Just two decades after the turn of the twentieth century a local businessman decided to generate some capital. Showing plans of a new skyscraper, he went around and solicited investors for his plan.
The Reveal
Just after construction began the investors knew something was wrong. After all what was being built wasn’t what they were investing in at all.
The End
After much of the investors dismay, it was finally revealed that the original blueprints were set in inches and not feet. They got exactly what they had invested, and our local businessman got $250,000 for little more than a drawing and the “Worlds Littlest Skyscraper”.
So, you have to ask yourself, “Is It a Hoax?”
